Rodent prevention for a stored RV: what the service can and cannot do

A rodent-prevention visit is more useful when it combines inspection of accessible entry points, appropriate treatment and storage advice. Tell us whether you have seen activity or only want preventative care. Existing contamination, damaged wiring or an active infestation may need different work from a routine prevention package.
What BlueBeaver documents
The package includes accessible underbody, utility and storage entry-point review, suitable minor gap treatment within the labour allowance, and high-quality deterrent spray where compatible and permitted by the product label. Product, quantity and treated areas are recorded. Spray, mesh and seal materials are itemized before approval. Required drains and ventilation must remain functional.
Why no one can promise a mouse-free RV
Weather, access, new gaps and storage conditions can affect results. Spray may require reapplication under the manufacturer’s instructions and cannot replace inspection or suitable exclusion. Large openings, infestation removal, contaminated insulation and substantial repairs are outside routine care unless separately agreed. Do not rely on a prevention visit as a guarantee.
Before and after the appointment
Remove food and unrelated clutter, provide access to the areas to be reviewed and tell us about pets. Follow the product-specific restrictions supplied with the job. During storage, check for new signs of activity and report them promptly. Avoid disturbing potentially contaminated material; ask about an appropriate professional response if contamination is present. Keep the treatment record with the RV’s maintenance history.
